The Women of First Baptist enjoy various social activities throughout the year. Women’s Bible study groups meet on Monday evenings at 6:00 and on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 September through May, providing a great opportunity to encourage one another through the Word of God.
The Community Breakfast takes place the third Saturday of every month from 8:30AM-11:00AM. This is a great opportunity for a free tasty meal and great chance to connect with others in the community of Newport. Pictures from the Community Breakfast
The Senior Adult Fellowship Luncheon is held @ Izzy’s on the third Thursday of each month. Those who are retired and semi-retired are encouraged to attend.
Fellowship Gatherings are important events for our church family. We enjoy annual events including: January all church potluck, Valentine’s luncheon, Easter brunch, Father’s day Luncheon, August all church picnic, Pastor’s appreciation potluck, and the December Christmas dinner and gift exchange.
